Penn Entertainment to Launch New Hotel Tower at M Resort Spa Casino This December

Penn Entertainment is gearing up for a major expansion at the M Resort Spa Casino in Las Vegas, with the anticipated opening of a second hotel tower set for December 1. This exciting development comes with a hefty $206 million investment and is currently awaiting regulatory approvals. The new tower will nearly double the resort’s room capacity, bringing the total to 765, significantly enhancing its appeal to both leisure travelers and business groups.

Nestled just south of the bustling Las Vegas Strip, M Resort Spa Casino enjoys a prime location on over 90 acres at the intersection of St. Rose Parkway and Las Vegas Boulevard. The recent transformation of its gaming floor has already revitalized the resort, setting the stage for this expansion. Additionally, the opening of the new Montese Ballroom, a 15,000-square-foot meeting space available to the public from October 1, showcases M Resort’s commitment to catering to convention-goers and event organizers.

Further elevating the guest experience, Penn Entertainment has partnered with The Emeril Group to introduce Meril, a new restaurant helmed by celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse. This collaboration aims to enhance the resort’s culinary offerings, adding another layer of luxury to its extensive amenities.

Jay Snowden, CEO and president of Penn Entertainment, shared his excitement regarding the expansion, stating: “We’re thrilled to be unveiling our newest development in Henderson. This new tower and restaurant from The Emeril Group expand our market-leading amenities at M Resort and provide much-needed additional room capacity for group business and the overall strong demand of the Henderson locals market.”

The expansion is poised to have a positive ripple effect on the local economy, with the creation of approximately 120 new jobs.
