Luke Combs and the Exciting New Category 10 Venue at Flamingo Las Vegas
Luke Combs, the award-winning country music star, is teaming up with Opry Entertainment Group (OEG) to launch an exciting new entertainment venue called Category 10 at the Flamingo Las Vegas. Set to open in the fall of 2026, this venue promises to deliver a unique blend of live music, exceptional dining, and a vibrant nightlife experience.
Inspired by "Hurricane"
The flagship Category 10 venue first opened in Nashville in late 2024, drawing inspiration from Combs’s chart-topping hit "Hurricane." This clever branding and conceptualization reflect Combs’s groundbreaking influence in country music and his commitment to creating memorable experiences for fans.
A Multi-Story Entertainment Experience
Spanning three stories, the Category 10 venue is designed to immerse visitors in a lively atmosphere:
-
Hurricane Hall: The main dining hall will feature three bars, a central stage, and a dance floor—all equipped with state-of-the-art video, acoustics, and lighting. Combs intends for Hurricane Hall to host curated artist lineups daily and offer free line dancing lessons, encouraging everyone to join in on the fun.
-
The Still: On the second floor, The Still will serve as a more intimate space, showcasing Combs’s songwriting talents. With a view of the stage, this area will boast an extensive selection of bourbons handpicked by Combs himself. An adjacent outdoor patio will provide a relaxed environment for guests to enjoy the Las Vegas atmosphere.
- The Eye Rooftop: The third level will introduce The Eye Rooftop, a covered space complete with a DJ booth, dance floor, and bar. Visitors will enjoy stunning views of the Las Vegas Strip, making it an ideal spot for both celebration and relaxation. Additionally, the Beautiful Crazy Women’s Lounge will complement the venue’s accessibility, located within the women’s restroom on the first floor, featuring a champagne bar, makeup counters, and soft seating.
Combs’s Enthusiasm for the Venue
In a recent statement, Combs expressed his excitement about expanding the Category 10 brand to Las Vegas. “I am stoked about having a second Category 10 location in Las Vegas… This takes it to the next level,” he mentioned, highlighting the venue’s goal of providing a distinct haven for fans.
Upcoming Tours and Milestones
Combs is not slowing down with his commitments; he is set to headline over 20 dates in Europe and North America next year on his My Kinda Saturday Night stadium tour. With his recognition as the highest RIAA-certified country artist in history—boasting over 168 million units sold—his rising star only adds to the allure of Category 10.
Strategic Partnerships and Expansion
Colin Reed, the executive chairman of OEG’s parent company Ryman Hospitality Properties, emphasized the importance of choosing the right location for Category 10 in Las Vegas. The UK is cited as a leading market for international visitors to Las Vegas, making this the perfect opportunity to capitalize on Combs’s increasing popularity in that region.
Reed also noted the company’s fruitful relationship with Caesars Entertainment, which has paved the way for more country music experiences at the Flamingo.
Transformational Experience at Flamingo Las Vegas
Dan Walsh, senior vice president and general manager of Flamingo Las Vegas, elaborated on the venue’s significance. He stated, “The addition of Category 10 continues to build on the momentum of a tremendous year transforming Flamingo Las Vegas." This aligns with the efforts to elevate the resort’s energy and offerings, as seen with other recent additions like Go Pool, Pinky’s by Vanderpump, and Gordon Ramsay Burger.
The new venue aims to integrate Combs’s musical legacy while delivering exceptional culinary experiences, all in a prime location on the Strip.
Luke Combs’s Category 10 is set to redefine the entertainment landscape at Flamingo Las Vegas, merging country music, culinary artistry, and a dynamic atmosphere, ensuring that every guest has an unforgettable experience.
